Why are files shown as PC generic on some Apple Mac machines?
The USB Flash Drive needs to be formatted using a MAC standard.
NOTE: It will prevent the USB Flash Drive from working with Windows file systems (unless re-formatted at PC). PC's and Mac's can read Windows formatted media, but, PC's cannot read Mac formatted media.
