How fast is USB data transfer speed (USB 1.1 and USB 2.0)?
Over a USB 1.1 port (Full speed) the data transfer rate is 12 Mbit/second (1.4 MB/s). USB 1.1 is much slower and older than the USB 2.0 standard. USB 2.0 (Hi-Speed) has maximum data transfer rate of 480 Mbit/s (57 MiB/s). Not many USB devices are able to use the maximum data transfer speed. On the package of your USB device you should find the speed it will use when connected to the correct USB port.
