What is the meaning of "Single/Double-sided"?

The single-sided chips are installed on one side and the double-sided chips are installed on both sides. It is recommended to use the single-sided chips as the main board can only work with a certain number of rows.
If any problem should occur in this regard, please update your BIOS version. Single-side does not always mean single-sided, for example the chips of a RAM memory module are always located only on one side, but they are working in the same way as double-sided chips.
